Dr. Naureen Syed

Dr. Naureen Syed has been proud to call Florida her home for most of her life. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science, excelling in research and publications. She earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in 2021, where she honed her expertise in podiatric care. Dr. Syed further advanced her skills during a rigorous three-year surgical residency in foot and ankle surgery at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She received extensive and specialized training in foot and ankle trauma, adult and pediatric reconstructive surgery, and diabetic limb salvage.

Her training was supplemented with rotations in infectious diseases, internal medicine, emergency medicine, vascular surgery, general surgery, and adult and pediatric orthopedic trauma at a level 1 institute. Dr. Syed pursued advanced education through post-graduate courses focused on arthroscopy, trauma, osteosynthesis, and surgical reconstruction of the foot and ankle. She served as chief resident during her last year, mentoring her peers while refining her surgical techniques and clinical decision-making in both adult and pediatric foot and ankle patient populations.

Dr. Syed is a member of the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the American Podiatric Medical Association. An advocate for giving back, she has participated in numerous philanthropic efforts, including organizing and participating in two medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic. She hopes to start or participate in a medical and surgical outreach program in India in the future.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Syed enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, playing volleyball, painting, hiking, and is currently trying to leash train her cat, Winnie. With a commitment to excellence and compassionate care, Dr. Syed is proud to serve her community as a trusted podiatrist.
